Kindly use the information we sent to you regarding your personalised email. This is a simple to use tutorial to help you set up your email in a quick and easy way. Note that some Outlook versions may look slightly different from the example pictures however the methods will remain the same on how to set up your email.

1 – Select the File tab – this can be found on the upper-left corner in the outlook window

2 – Select Add Account as shown

3 – Now you will new window. On this one select “Manual set-up or additional server types” then click Next.

4 – On this window you will want to select POP or IMAP then click Next

5 – Now you will have a window with a few fields to be filled in
Enter your name
Enter the email provided: e.g. hello@socialmediamanagement.co.za
Select the account type: IMAP
Set the Incoming mail server to: socialmediamanagement.co.za
Set the Outgoing server (SMTP) to: socialmediamanagement.co.za
Now enter the user name and email provided in the email we sent you
e.g. User name: hello@socialmediamanagement.co.za
e.g. Password: ******

6 – Now select More Settings

7 – Select the Outgoing Server tab

8 – Tick My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication

9 – Now select the Advanced tab

10 – Now in the Server Port Numbers change the following to:
Incoming server (IMAP): 993
Outgoing server (SMTP): 465

11 – Now click on OK at the bottom of the Internet E-mail settings window
12 – Select Next in the Add Account window to test and save your account settings
